Squshies Weekly Recap - Week 5

Time for the weekly recap of what has been going on here in Squshie land.

creative daily hustle

29. Hustle - I'm starting to feel like I need to do a little hustling to get all these monkeys done in time for March!

tea time
30. Breathe - I've been trying to be better at taking a few hours off to relax as the way I finish off my evenings. Often with a cup of tea, a snack, and watching some tv on the internet.

finished monkeys
31. Done - This storage container is starting to fill up with finished monkeys! They aren't all done, but quite a few are! It is so exciting to see this project coming together. I can't wait to share it with you all.

And that marks the end of pictures from #creativedaily for January. Now on to February! Once again you can find the prompts on Lu and Ed's blog
1. Love -Today prompt was love so it had to be these two, Jason and Hazel =)

pizza time
2.Smile - Spending time with friends. Wine. Pizza. Snacks. All things that make me smile. Especially when they combine. A bunch of  us got together for the Super Bowl, even though none of us are very interested in the game. Always fun to get together with friends.

best friends hoop art
3.Friendship - Beauregard and Reginald must have a pretty good friendship for Reginald too put up with all of Beau's crazy schemes. Plus making these 2 critters and all their other felt animal friends has given me the opportunity to meet and build friendships with more people than I ever imagined.
tiny monkey hands
4. A Penny for Your Thoughts -This picture is a few weeks old but just seemed so perfect for the prompt. Plus cutting more monkey hands the day of this prompt made me once again question how small they are. Luckily we've come up with a simpler alternate hand, but I do love the detail of actual fingers.

This week once again has been all about monkeys. Monkeys, monkeys, monkeys! The good news is all the monkey are designed, almost half of them are sewn and the last half are being cut out over the next few days It is coming together!
