We're less than a month away from March Monkey Madness!
What is March Monkey Madness? Well for the month of March, Squshies is going to be all about monkeys! We've got plans to release a new monkey every day in March. We're still working out all the final details of the event, but there will for sure be a monkey every day in March.
Before we get to March, I thought it might be fun to talk about different aspects of this project and I thought I should probably start with why I decided to do this in the first place.
I work best when I have big goals and I love a crazy challenge. Creating a whole month worth of new Squshies between the end of December and the beginning of March? That definitely qualifies for both.

The holidays are a super busy time of year for Squshies, but right after the holidays everything slows way down. It is always a rough transition for me to go from busy, busy, busy to not busy at all. I tend to flounder and lose direction when I don't have something to aim for or a deadline to meet. I start to get down on myself and it just isn't a fun time. Creating a big project for myself right after the holidays has definitely been a good cure for that icky no direction phase.

I'm also hoping a daily month long theme will be really fun! I've enjoyed working on this project and I can't wait to share all the monkeys. I really hope that this will be something you all enjoy too.
Next week I'll be talking about why I choose monkeys. It wasn't just for the alliteration!
