This ugly blob with a beak sewn on to it is an attempt to crochet a new bird for my hat. My current bird is made of plastic folders and hot glue so I decided to try a new medium. So far my crochet skills produce lumpy round pieces and flat pieces full of holes. We'll just have to see if this is hat worthy once it's complete.
